A matte painting is a painted representation of a landscape, set, or distant location that allows filmmakers to create the illusion of an environment that would otherwise be too expensive or impossible to build or visit. Historically, matte painters and film technicians have used various techniques to combine a matte-painted image with live-action footage. At its best, depending on the skill levels of the artists and technicians, the effect is "seamless" and creates environments that would otherwise be impossible to film. |
Twelve Foot Ninja Comic Trailer |  | 
Twelve Foot Ninja are an Australian Rock Band who theme their music with the character "Twelve Foot Ninja" through the use of comics and multi media. This three and a half minute trailer was produced to launch the "Silent Machine" Album and Twelve Foot Ninja Comic in early to mid 20011. The video is un available for viewing until the release but in the meantime we managed to get permission to show you some stills. This Trailer was made entirely in our studios. There was an extensive and very effective use of background mattes in order to keep the price down. This movie was produced on an extremely low budget but you would never know when watching it. All rights for the characters, images and movie belong to Twelve Foot Ninja.
